Online Dharma Courses

Giving Rise to the Bodhi Mind

Format of the course:

On the Monday of each week during the course, a Dharma talk (approx. 30-40 minutes) on the week’s topic will be posted on the website.  Course participants will listen to the talk on their own schedule during the early part of the week and practice with it during the week.  Participants are encouraged to write down your reflections of the week’s practice as well as questions.

During the third week, participants will gather online via zoom video conferencing (1.5 hour).  The gathering will be an opportunity for us to connect, share our reflections on the previous two weeks’ practice, and ask questions.

The weekly Dharma talk will be posted on five consecutive Mondays.  In the early part of the sixth week, participants will gather online again (1.5 hour) via zoom to share your reflections and ask questions.

This is a very low-tech online Dharma course.  Course participants will receive an email with a link to each talk.  For the zoom video conferencing, you will receive a link that will allow you to join the class meeting.  You will not need to install any software but having a webcam and microphone will allow you to have the full experience in the video online discussions via zoom.
