This 3-session course is designed to take place over several weeks for participants to try out what is covered in class and bring their experience and questions to be shared in the subsequent class meeting. Course topics may include:
Different kinds of meditation and Chan meditation
Setting up and maintaining a regular sitting meditation practice
Finding a suitable meditation posture
Working with the method of meditation
Handling common difficulties in sitting meditation
Understanding meditative experiences
